Doron Kollan

Chief Executive Officer

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Friska on shaping & delivering the digital change transformation plan for Newcrest. Friska stands out as an incredibly proactive change professional who seeks first to get stuck in and understand a business. Friska produces quality change materials at pace and takes stakeholders from operators to senior executives through change using practical, effective and innovative methods. I would very much recommend Friska to others.

Martin Gallagher

IT Manager – Digital

I remember the first time Friska walked into my office, it was like a breath of fresh air! Friska had a beaming smile on her face and was instantly warming, engaging, and fun to work with. Friska took the time to seek me out and really understand my area of the business. Many years later I’ve come to know Friska as a great communicator (and blogger) with a tenacious work ethic. She is expert at developing relationships across the whole business and isn’t scared to engage with the upper echelons of management. This allows her to develop a deep understanding of the business/industry she is in, and of course makes driving change programs a natural fit for her. It would be my pleasure to work with Friska again in the future.

3 reasons why the best change managers are never in their office

What’s a drive-by change manager? Someone who just passes by, hits you with a mountain of work to get you “change ready”, recants a string of cookie cutter key messages and – poof! They channel Puff the Magic Dragon and vanish before you can ask any questions. Interactions with this type of manager consist of dumping sessions of to-dos, decisions made and unrealistic deadlines. In short, these change managers spend their time dishing out work rather than offering context, input and support so you can transition yourself (and your team) to the future state.
